Deer Hunt Opening Day

Good start to the week !
3 bucks down and 3 more tags to fill. Last deer of the day shot at 195 paces from treestand across a bean field using 12 ga. 2 .75" Federal Premium Vital-Shok Barnes Expander Tipped Sabot . Scope was at 9x needless to say. Some may call b.s. but it got up after the first knockdown so he nailed it again.
Also saw a waterspout out over the lake and a beautiful sunset while carting him out . A beautiful end to the first day.

Sorry about double posting.

Yup Day 2..... here we go again ! Staying on the ground today and away from widowmakers. This wind will make for tough hunting the next two days. Will work the pines and bushes ?

We did t get much action first day out. One little buc k down this morn sure windy in the trees and we aint hit the 90km yet.

15 minutes after I wrote that the tree directly behind me cracked at the ground and I thought I was a goner. It luckily fell south, didn't want to go the way my Grampa did.
