8 Tags have been caught so I was told, lots more out there to be had, temp is way down though, bite is tough, even with minnows.I'm heading over Sat. morning to see if I can find a tag(I need gas money) lol

Bite is very slow, the water is still very cold. But 8 tags have been caught so its not a bad start, we've had worse years. There are so many minnows though, its hard to compete with so much natural fodder. Early morning seems to be the best chance for perch. Otherwise, people are catching a lot of white perch and bullhead.

thanks to all who replied---about what i expected to hear
