Went out with many many other boaters in search of silver and gold.

I've since learned that I should have gone out to 65 ft of depth. I didn't.

I've learned that I should have used 10 colours of lead core. I didn't.

I've learned that I should have used body baits, especially Bandits. I didn't.

I've learned that I should have used riggers down deep all day. I didn't.

I've learned that I should have used worm harnesses off the riggers all day. I didn't.

In spite of all these shortcomings The Neighbour and I boated 15 fish keeping 12 walleye and a bow, it just took us a little longer.

Conditions were great calming down to the extent of allowing a bug assault, thank goodness the winds picked back up somewhat as they don't taste very good.

The graph looked very different, no stacked cordwood everywhere, lots of dead water and spotty bait and hooks.

Ran usual program, dipsys. For a bit got creative and dropped a rigger. It accounted for 3, 2 didn't hit hard enough to trip a Chamberlain and nothing came off the slider. Up out of the water.

Dipsys and spoons, (many spoons) put 12 in the boat.

Water temps 70-72.4* on surface, no probe today.

Dipsy on zero(0.25), 95-105 back.

Dipsy on two, 125-145 back

Dipsy on three, 140-160 back.

Heard the chatter on the radio about struggles and successes, figured the boat was doing okay.

Here's a few shots of the day including the bow with 12 minnows in its gut. ????

You did great. Yummy.

Anyone else notice none of the water was really clear yesterday?

Everywhere I was yesterday had stuff suspended, no "Caribbean clarity" as per the norm out there.

Rigger line came in coated in fleas every time, well the three times it came in. LoL????????

Sunday Monday the stain disappeared out in 62+ fow

We made our way out Tuesday and were one of the boats having a harder time than previous. We launched out of Bruce but came to Burwell as we like the boatride.

Tried many depths, fish were all hugging the bottom and no thermocline was shown on the graph. Should have dropped the tem probe but was complacent.

Ended up with 7 fish for the day, we needed to get off for noon so it cut our haul by a bit.
Rigger took 3 at 47. Dispsey at 160 out took the rest. None on the 10 colour deadcore except for a small.
