Went out friday moring to water calm and packed it in once the waves came ou around 8. Did anyone else stay out on the lake and did it calm down out there?
On a side note back at the launch some people need to learn ramp etiquete, when you pull your boat out of the water get the heck out of the way. Dont strap your boat up right there and take all your gear out!

No it did'nt calm done, by the time we came in there where 4ft waves.

The weather report for today said 2 footers or less but you are telling us there were 4 footers. Any guess on what the waves will be like for tommorrow? Want to bring a buddy out but we don't do the rough stuff and don't want to drive 1.5 hours to find it rough. Any advice would be appreciated.

The best advice I can offer is to check the Port Stanley Buoy data when you wake up. The actual wave heights are about 2 times the height shown...:
