Looking at updating our decoy spread with some Mojo's. I know they come with poles but they seem to be pretty short in length. Has anyone experiemented with other types of supports for their birds?

We are upgrading this year to a mud motor :). Any opinions which drive is the best - short or long - for the inner marsh area? We are thinking about a 12 kohler long drive mud motor that will go on a 14'

Fished 9:00 - 1:30 - between the Cut and St Williams in the middle of the bay - no man's land - very few perch - a few small ones and 2 or 3 nine inchers. Water clarity was clear. Talked to several people who had similiar results. Thanks to the Vienna locals who pulled my ass out of a slush...
Fished 8:30 - 1:00 east about 1 km in fairly close - 2 pike cruised through and about 20 perch were caught - nothing big - we did have a few nice school come by. Snow is abit deeper making travelling more difficult. Fishing was dead from 12:00 - 1:30

First trip of the year went fairly smoothly however the perch did not show up. Fished 1.5 Km North of the Cut as well as in closer.
