    Targeting Bows

Hey Guys, been out of Burwell and Nanticoke more times this year than I have been in the past 2. Been doing okay targeting and landing eyes. But for the life of me I haven’t caught a single Bow since 2017. Haven’t even hooked up with one. Is there a specific way to actually go about catching...

    Trolling with DI and SS

Hey Guys. Didn’t want to hijack Old Schools post so I’m posing my own question on Sonars. Does anyone see the benefit of trolling Lake Erie or Lake O with Down Imaging or Side Scan or both. Or is it kind of a waste if all you really use is Sonar and Maps. Just curious because I’m also in the...

    Knots for 20-25lb Fluorocarbon

I've had luck with a simple, Six-turn San Diego jam knot. This was the first knot my Dad taught me, and still use today 30 years later. Warning: Video is pretty dry. Lol

    Knots for 20-25lb Fluorocarbon

By far in my opinion is the Willis Knot aka the Leadcore Knot. Here's a video on how to tie. Super easy and strong.

    Sand hills perch

Great day at the Sandhills today. Fished from 7-9 o'clock. 2 man limit. Took a buddy (newbie) who's never fished a large body of water, He actually said the extent of his fishing career was with a Spider-Man rod and reel off a dock in the Lindsey area with his kids. Way easier for him to figure...

    How do I???

Not real familiar with Hummingbird, but my Garmins and Lowrance units can be done by setting a waypoint anywhere then going back to saved waypoints and edit them. Hope it helps.

Well... Maybe a bit less costly. But I like the way u do that Pied Piper thing and have the Eyes just jump in your boat.

That boat better be cleaned by the time I get home. Gonna have to use it Thursday, cause mine doesn't fill up with fish like yours.

    Dipsys and Leadcore

Hey Guys and Gals, can anyone let me approximately know how far a #1 Dipsy on a 3 setting will run Horizontally from the boat with let's say 100ft of braid. Want to run Leadcore on inline planers (TX44 Super Boards) outside of The Dipsys but am am skeptical about the 2 getting hung up with each...

What size dipsy is most commonly used at Burwell/Bruce? 0's or 1's and what are a few good colors. Also are you guys pulling spoons, cranks, harnesses or just a combination of all?

    gps fish finder

I asked the same question last year, took the advice from the guys on 6-8, and went to see Jos at Angler Outfitters. He set me up with Elite 5 and I love it, went back this year and let him go over it again with me and set it back up. I'm a slow learner. LOL
