I've had luck with a simple, Six-turn San Diego jam knot. This was the first knot my Dad taught me, and still use today 30 years later. Warning: Video is pretty dry. Lol

By far in my opinion is the Willis Knot aka the Leadcore Knot. Here's a video on how to tie. Super easy and strong.

Not real familiar with Hummingbird, but my Garmins and Lowrance units can be done by setting a waypoint anywhere then going back to saved waypoints and edit them. Hope it helps.

What size dipsy is most commonly used at Burwell/Bruce? 0's or 1's and what are a few good colors. Also are you guys pulling spoons, cranks, harnesses or just a combination of all?

I asked the same question last year, took the advice from the guys on 6-8, and went to see Jos at Angler Outfitters. He set me up with Elite 5 and I love it, went back this year and let him go over it again with me and set it back up. I'm a slow learner. LOL
