    Boat rigging question...

Riggers as far back as you can get them, then dypsy's next then rocket launchers for lead. Whether on inlines or big boards.

    And you wonder why......

So many sport fishermen & women get upset with commercial fishing. Unfortunately as with many things these days it only takes one clown to tarnish public opinion. If I was a netter on Superior I'd be tracking this particular clown down and handing him/her over to the authorities...

    Cell phone reception

There are dead spots all over the lake. Doesn't matter which provider you are with. I've been with Telus since they came to Ontario. Bell and Rogers may have more towers but their customer service sucks sh!t. Once you get 10-15+miles off shore there are no guarantees thus the need for a VHF.

I see this thread going sideways really quick, But I couldn't agree more with you Josh. Charged multiple times on minor offences and now this... I'm not jumping on the bash all commercial fisherman band wagon but this dude should have all his boats seized and his license revoked for life. He's...

    Indoor storage (boat)

King storage I think its called.. in Alymer has a ton of indoor space, but I have no idea of cost or how they are for accessibility once your in. Its the old imperial tobacco plant right on 73/imperial road.

Why are these Commercial nets not marked better?

If you left something strung across a highway that potentially could kill someone you'd be charged but the lake is exempt, its a joke.

Argument and Threats out of Burwell today over the radio

Can't fix stupid. I was out of Burwell on Saturday fishing tight against a net running parallel with it. As I was getting to the end of the net (where the flag is for those who don't know) a blue starcraft running perpendicular crossed my bow some 500' in front of me which was ok, cutting it a...

Think Pressure Cracks are "No Big Deal" Think again!

Being a bit of a sled head myself I cringe every time I see 'snowmobile' in the headlines. From the start of the sledding season it seems there are fatalities every weekend.

    whats the best port?

You might want to consider heading to Leamington, Colchester or Cedar Island given the size of your boat. Eyes can be had inside 3 miles or closer to shore. Apart from that Port Glasgow usually offers fishing closer to shore as the lake gets deeper faster in that location but you will still be a...

    Deep Fryer

For that kind of $ this would be a great option as well. It also has a thermostat so you never burn the oil or food. http://www.centralrestaurant.com/Commercial-Gas-Fryer---Economy-40-45-lb-Oil-Capacity-c103p24570.html

    Opinions on new boat

Unless Princecraft has changed their hull design which doesn't look like it from your pics, the hull turns down at the transom. What I am saying is the transom is very shallow. It also cuts the transom down further to accommodate a short shaft motor. Its hard to tell this from the pic you have...
