Just finishing up 2nd trip on Lake O. Colder water haa slowed the bite. Still managed 8 for 10 so far. 2 lakers 2 bows and 4 cohos. Lost 2. Nice day on water....
Out front of Bronte checking out boat for the seaaon. First run ..all good. Solo so set up 2 riggers.. 3 for 4 so far. Coho boated first. The double with a huge king and a bow. Lost a bow in the slider... Great day on the water..
Fished off Sandhill's today. 3 man limit in the cooler. Released nother dozen or so... 14lb catfish to boot.
Riggers down 55 and dipseys back 175 on #3 and back 130 on #1. Harnesses worked best.
Put in the hours today on the water with Icefisherman and Duck Soup. Paid off with a 3 man limit of pickerel in the cooler. Fished off sandhills. Fish were 50 to 55 down. Riggers and dipseys with harnesses or copper spoons were the ticket....
Started out for perch. Was slow so switched over to trolling for eyes. 1st fish on within 10 minutes off SandHills 55FOW. Next pass boxed number 2. Water has warmed up. 72.1 on surface 67.8 down 35
Nother great day in Lake O.... Despite a flat on boat trailer slowing us down ended up going 15 for 20. Biggest fish were 22.5lb, 19.5lb and 18lb. Only lost 2 spoons today.... good day on the water. Off water by 9am. Fished 90 to 100 FOW
Had the boat home for some maitiance so decoded to hit Lake O for some early morning salmon action. Action was non stop.... no huge fish but afew in 20lb range. Landed 14 lost twice that as had a rookie crew.... fun day on the water.

Headed out for the morning to try for eyes and run stabilizer thru the motors. Fished solo. Picked up 4 eyes and a feed of silvers on 9 color/worm harness in 57/58 FOW just east of port.
Hit Nanicoke Monday morning with a friend from work and his son. Had 1st eye on before rods were all out. Went 15 for 20. Kept 12. Only landed 2 silvers and 2 farm animals. 6 colour /worm harness was hot but 140 out on 40 jet and 2 colour/husky jerk also took fish. dipseys were dead. Saw 1 tug...
After the last round of storms the water level in the creek is very high. Use caution as there was lots of debris including trees washing down river and out into the lake. There was a large log drifting just to the east of the outer channel coming in yesterday......
The forecasted 15 to 25 south winds never materialized today. Beauty day on the lake perching. Best day yet. Lots of huge perch. 1 rod + 2 scoops minnows = 1 limit in 2 hours.

Went for perch today. Fished solo east of Burwell. Ended up east of Sandhills 49FOW along the mud line. Found the bite and picked up a limit. Most were good size. Lots of doubles.
Leaving on Wednesday with sogh from this forum. Heading to Cumberland Gap, Tennessee for a few days. Will be doing guided hunts for both turkey and wild hog. Taking the Excalibur Matrix crossbows and GoPros. Will post results......
End of season coming. Took morning off work and headed out Solo on the lake to run some stabilized fuel thru motors. Fished from 8:00 till about 11:00. Lake rolling pretty good with the east wind. Set up in 54 FOW east of silver barn. Marked lots of hooks down 35 to 45. Set out a dipsey back...
Headed for a late season trip for a few eyes with ice fisherman. East of silver barn... 56 FOW. Boated a 2 man limit of eyes plus a couple huge perch and a bunch of silvers. Lost a bunch. Best bite was from 430 to 530 pm then it died off till dark. Dipseys back 175 did initial damage. .. later...
Took the boat out for 1st run of the season this morning. Fished solo 39 FOW out front of silver barn. Steady action. Didn't take long to get a limit. Bite was very light,
Kitted out the new Excalibur Matrix 380 so had to try it out. Packed it up for the flight and headed to the sunny south. Didn't take long to have a pig in the cross hairs. What a blast hunting those critters with a bow.....
