well it wasn't for the lack of trying but we ended up with 3 and a 1/2 hour with the opp almost all the birds flew back to us after legal light oh well it was fun getting out again. one this is for sure the birds are plump now. how was the DU dinner ship wrecked yummy as usual??

the last time i ventured out to the outflow at nanticoke for perch and silvers 2yrs ago the water coming out was 2 or 3 degrees colder than the lake. with the non use of the station as it seems the fish have moved on to a different place we fished for about 2 hours and only caught a few perch...

you know that the mig. bird permit is good for all of canada and your ontario small game is good for the entire province so why not hunt the late season where u can in the non sunday hunting areas of the province like haldimand county??

there is ice out there but from akers south to longpoint and west to the causeway was totally open. the waves were pounding on a north west wind and they were approx. 3ft. I guess we will have to see the damage after the wind dies down.

fished 1 to 1.25 miles south of st willies this morning in about 6 fow with slim pickens ended up catching about 50 to 60 perch only managed 14 to bring home fished from 715 till 1030 not bad for the first outing of the year.

well it was the end of a great season that started out not so bad for woodies and than got crappy for a month or so and with the last 3 weeks of the season winding down we ended up getting some nice shoots of of turkey point. the end comes today with a last hunt on the north shore of erie near...
went out this morning with bufflehead had a good morning downing 6 bluebills and 4 red drakes. hope this holds out shooting is awsome right now.

ya once the wind and snow came the bluebills went crazy for the spread the total for the day was 7 bluebills 2red hens and 3 red drakes great way to put the boat away for the season thanks again for a sucessfull last and second last hunt of the year bufflehead.
