Looking to get out and hook up with some of those famous lake erie small mouth this fall. Am I too early to start searching around the nanticoke area ? Any other suggested spots to explore ?

thanks - i can't see any names or initials on the bottom of them. the larger mallard's eyes are glass - and it's head turns. the smaller mallard's eyes appear to be a metal of some sort

again - that's where i looked - for most of the length of the bar. on that note when you say inside the bar you're talking the south side (vs the bay side) - correct ?

I'm having a devil of a time trying to find any numbers of perch this spring. I didn't get out early this spring but have been out 3 or 4 times in the last two months with little success to speak of. I caught a few in the bay (boating channel) before the sanctuary was imposed but haven't found...
