Old tackle found anyone know what this would be

I have aquired my nanas first husbands tackle so that would be from the 80s maybe 70s they split and i found this think i have no idea what it would be for theres weird sideways hooks on it 2 of them and the trebels on the leader plus a big spike hanging and the thing at the top moves in and out by the barrel swivel anyone have an idea?
I have maybe 5 of them and one of them had a worn out cranadian tire corperation sticker on it

I think that’s an old “smity” sucker-rig. You pin the sucker down the gullet and pin its head up front. Treble hooks run down the body.
