Anticipating a lot of walleye angler’s to be out walleye fishing yesterday on such a beautiful day,of the last day of the walleye season,but to our surprise,we had the walleye spot to ourselves! @Could get Ugly and myself “struggled” to hook a walleye there,till a friend of ours who we haven’t seen for awhile,showed up “out of the blue” and showed us how it was done!! lol 
He caught most of the walleye’s,( we didn’t mind! 
),and he obviously knew this spot on the Thames River better then I did,( I only fished it 3 times in the past), over the year’s,and @Could get Ugly has never been there before,till I showed @Could get Ugly the spot yesterday. All in all,it turned out to be a fantastic few hour’s of walleye fishing with some great friend’s,who I have known for roughly up to 30 year’s. We ended up keeping 5 walleye’s between @Could get Ugly and myself,and even released a female walleye loaded with egg’s, 
and roughly weighing around 7 lbs.!! I did end up giving one of my walleye’s that I had caught to a female angler that was there with her husband,for doing a “photo shoot” of our walleye’s that we had caught. In a way it is sad to see the walleye sanctuary starting today for 2 month’s,just as the walleye bite is starting to “heat up” on the Thames River. But,good to know as well,that there will be walleye’s still around in the future,for all to enjoy for hopefully year’s to come! It’s time to get my boat ready soon,and “Hit the open water” on one of our Great Lakes!! Enjoy these photo’s & 1 video, and Tight lines to All & See you On the Water!!
