    leadcore beside Dipsy's

I've had good success using dipsey's, but I've never figured out how to reset a leadcore line while running dipsey's on the same side. How can I be sure that they won't tangle when the leadcore crosses over the dipsey on the way out to the end of the planerboard? Any help would be greatly...

    paper charts

Casey I purchased charts for the areas I fish, sealed them in plastic and placed them in my boat where i'm shure they will never be used. This is nothing but a money grab. Do you realy feel that any of us could give our location off a chart. Lake Ontario is deep and with few obstructions off...

Thanks Dave; I think i'll get one just to be safe. Lake Ontario Police don't appear to be as forgiving. Mike

    paper charts

It appears to have been around for a while. Law states something like (either paper charts or an good knowledge of the waters ). Do you know all the depth changes in all the areas you travel ? I don,t and with the day s of gps and fishfinders Who really does? Mike

    paper charts

The O.P.P. have been warning and ticketing fishermen in Lake Ontario recently for not having paper navigational charts of the area that they were fishing. [:(!] Is this also happening on Erie ? It means purchasing charts for every water body that we fish or travel.:( Any one planning to fish...

    NEM boat launch

Meridian I have launched at many many ramps all over Ontario and my advise to you is NOT TO LAUNCH AT NORTH ERIE MARINA. If you do you will be spoiled forever. I began launching there late last season and was amazed at the great servce these two people offered. You will have no problem...

    waves

I also live away from both lakes and have found it frustrating to say the least at showing up to the ramp and seeing 4 foot waves. I have found www.ndbc.noaa.gov/ to be very helpfull. You can select a bouy close to the area you wish to fish and read all the data including the history of wave...

    Bashing

Marshman, Scrimmy Ive just read the post by Scrimmy with his RANT. It is to bad cowards will go so far out of their way to hurt someone. I live far from port Bruce and therefore only get to fish there a couple times a season. It is because of your posts that I'm able to be succesfull . I'm sorry...

P.S. I love my Crestliner 202 Tournament Have you hooked at them ?

    riggers or no riggers

Misty some great info here. If you must outfit your boat over several years like most of us, riggers probably should be your last investment. You can cover much more water with a good selection of dipsy's for a lot less money. I use my riggers only when fishing very deep or in tight areas.

    Nanticoke Walleye

Thanks for the input guys. Do you think the fish have moved to the deeper water? Two weeks ago I hit a line of baitfish that ran for miles with large hooks below and above, this Sunday I could not find either bait or fish. Thanks again; Mike
