Smelt fry...
They don't go as golden brown with lard as they do with oil... Just a dusting of flour and pepper... No lack of taste though... 🤤 Matched with a rainbow salad with coleslaw dressing... Just crumbs left... lol- jammer

Dipsey reel/rod advice
My advice is to head to your favourite tackle shop and put them in your hands... It also depends if its going to be a mono, braid or wire dipsey rod...
