I also had a Lund Alaskan 18'9 with a 90 opti - fished Erie and Ontario frequently. Great rig all around.

Haven't had any experience with the tohatsu but that should be adequate. You don't want to be underpowered.

We were out the other night in the long point stretch of the elbow, the active fish seemed to be up high around 20-25ft. But We got a few on riggers as well down around 45 feet. They were all over the map. Two or three guys on the radio did really well fishing up top. trust your electronics and...

Solution to pollution is dilution lol ....the volume of water pushing through is considerable. The odd bypass will happen just like they do into Lake Erie. The bigger concern is agricultural run off but that's a story for another day. I live on the grand and have no issues swimming or eating...
