Maridome

On a trip to Hawaii, I came across this yacht, Maridome, rumoured to belong to Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. I thought it may be of interest to those visitors who are currently suffering from a bout of 'twofootitus'. I'm not sure of the boat's length, but it was large enough to contain a 30 ft. runabout which could be launched from the side. In addition, there were a couple of Jet-Skis stowed on the bow.

UPDATE1:  My friend L.P. has stated that Maridome is definitely NOT owned by Bruce and Demi, but rather by a wealthy US soft drink baron.  On this trip the Maridome was headed to the 1998 World Cup of Soccer in France.

UPDATE2: Keith G. from the U.K. advises that Maridome is the 61st largest yacht in the world and has a price tag of 28.5 million dollars.  You can charter her for a mere $182,000 per week.  Keith spotted her in Corsica, where she was outfitted with a mini-submarine.
Here's the Maridome anchored off Lahaina on the Island of Maui. The structures on the rear roof of the vessel were said to be a communications array allowing for phone calls to be made anywhere in the world. The four portholes amidships show the runabout within.

Here's a close-up of the bridge area of the Maridome.

You can get an idea of her size when you find the crew member standing in front of the bridge.

Here's a bow shot of the Maridome, while anchored in Honolulu Harbour. I spoke with a deckhand who denied that Bruce and Demi owned the vessel. He stated that "they couldn't afford it".   I guess he was right.
