60-62 fow. 7 colour core did most of the catching .Dipsey caught 1 bow 3 setting 125 back with a mini spoon in pink. used all KO lures mixed veggies and nascar were hot for us and yes we straightened some hooks. Rigger down 45 feet caught a number of walleye and bows.5 colour core was dead today. 12 walleye all cookie cutter fish between 7 and 8 lbs released all but 4 . 6 bows with the biggest being 15 lbs caught on 7 colour core ,all released. Lost 3 walleye at the boat when they rolled and the hooks just popped out. Minor disaster when the starboard planer line snapped at the mast (300 lb test) and had to retrieve the board. It had been a bit quiet at that time and as we raced to bring in lines found we had farm animals on all of them (sheephead) no wonder rods werent firing .Lake was rough in am but got nice at noon . trolled downwind again at 2.2 mph .Not sure yet if we will be on the water today July 30 but will post if we do go.
