took my cousin duck hunting for the first time today, & had a pretty good hunt
all together we managed to get 8 ducks
2 oldsquaws
3 redheads
1 lesser scalp
1 widgeon
1 mallard
I also marked log out by # 17 with a white barrel while I had the boat out
We made alot of the usual mistakes but had a great time, I'm pretty sure my cousin is hooked for good now
how did everyone else out there make out?

My apology. Those are definately Old Squaws. I have seen some in the spring on the bay, but never this time of year. Pictures are worth a thousand words.

I use to get them(old squaw) in the bay and out front at TP. They are a really nice looking bird in full plumage Nice to see such a variety of birds. Was out sat got 6 4 wigeon teal 1 mallard and a sick lookin goose. Was out and about and put up a lot of divers in the bay and out by Pottahawk. Looks like some birds have arrived.
