As reported on the fshing forum today, a beautiful day on the bay.
Light south winds all day, almost glass by the end of legal. Mostly sunny.
No birds decoyed today, tried a couple spots between little and big rice.
Sounded like a layout boat did well off the millionaires.
Also heard some pounding from the north shore and the head of the bay..
Was very tempted to join the fishing fun out by c10, but sounds like they had an equally unproductive day..
After dark thousands of birds came in off the lake, no idea what for sure but looked like red heads and blue bills...
Yesterday much the same, practically no morning shoot at all, and just a few came in at dark.
Poor dog didn't get much exercise today, but she did an excellent tripple with a go bird on the first retrieve. Made the whole day worth it ten fold...
