Spoke to Rob of J`s Fish Huts
I called him about doing some white fish fishing . He told me that
there only fishing for perch right now because the ice where the white fish are is not safe, there is two feet of snow on the ice
insulating the Ice from the cold nights. When he check the Ice it was only 3" thick and was told it was 8"
So he`s hoping maybe in a week things might change and he can start looking for the white`s . He told me they can be a 1/2 mile from home ice to as far as 10 miles north of him .
so If anyone looking to go north take care . check that ice !!
