Dunville Ice

Has anyone fished Dunnville recently? Wondering what the ice is looking like.

Drove by about an hour ago and there were a dozen huts out. Cant say what the ice thickness was. I might go out later... Maybe!

Enjoy it while it lasts with the mild temps and lots of rain in the forecast the river is going to rise and it's going to be moving very quickly. Play safe out there if you do venture out

I would not risk it. I prefer fiberglass to ice for walking on water.

Went out yesterday evening. Ice was ptobably 8" in the two areas I went. There is a lot of current.

Saw 2 fish caught.

I wont be going back out there. In one of the holes I drilled, there was a patch of 3" of ice. I reached under and it was only a small area, but still not good. That current is eating the ice up and the weather forecast will definitely finish it off.
