- The weather wasn't great but 54 volunteers made the day a huge success. LPWA President, Glenn Hanson thanked participants.
-The hamburgers and hot dogs prepared by chefs Jan James and Bob Chamberlain were awesome
-Jim Malcolm told those in attendance that the rehab work scheduled this past summer on the west side of the Old Cut was basically complete and that we were committed to much more in 2015.
-A November meeting will to scheduled to consider member recommendations.
-Cam Thomson said the Heritage Day hunt was set with 18 spots occupied by LPWA Youth Hunt participants. All others are available to the public through the Waterfowl Unit. The hunt is September 20th and ends at noon. Cam thanked all those involved in providing the youth with a first class opportunity for a guided hunt in a first class facility. Cam also indicated that the LPWA did not monopolize the best blinds.
- Trailers can be brought in starting Friday September 19th and the admin office will also provide services on Saturday the 20th. Regular hours are week days from 9 am to 4 pm
-Treasurer Brad Swick announced that memberships, especially sustaining memberships were up. He also acknowledged Waterfowl Unit support by both Delta Waterfowl and Ducks Unlimited. He said we had over $30,000 in the bank and should have no problem meeting our commitments.
-Sustaining member Peter Benn won the 1st Reservation prize for Camo Day volunteers.
