Hello Guys,

The ice was melting in Big Creek with open water from the bridge upstream on Wednesday afternoon and there were a few guys fishing from the bridge.

The next day Big Creek was opening up into the Inner Bay and there was a pile of ducks pouring into the open water ... between two to three thousand birds with several hundred canvasbacks.

Thought you might be interested.

Hello Guys,

I saw a "shot" of Lake Erie and the ice two nights ago ... the western basin was open but the eastern basin was iced over except for the Inner Bay and the Outer Bay of Long Point.

Yesterday there were all sorts of ducks flying about as well as Mute Swans, Tundra Swans, Canada Geese and Sandhill Cranes.
